Why do we like this?

Having picked up a Western Australian Music Award for 'Song of the Year,’ and had one of his songs feature in the US hit show Shadowhunters, rising star Riley Pearce has had a breakout 2017. Things look set to continue with the release of his latest single "Misplaced."

A soulful folk tune playing to Pearce's strength as a vocalist, "Misplaced" is hauntingly beautiful. Pearce's layered vocals go hand-in-hand with the melodic rhythms and the melancholy yet vibrant instrumentation is the perfect balance for a song describing the highs and lows of a relationship. 

With a new EP in the works for next year, "Misplaced" is another display of Pearce's talent and why he is being hailed as one of Australia's next big things.
