Out of Perth is indie folk singer-songwriter Riley Pearce, with a new single from his upcoming sophomore EP Outside The Lines.
The track "Brave" features a solo from an instrument that's cropping up more and more these days -- the trumpet. Overall "Brave" is spirited and moving, Riley's voice is amazing, and so is the music video that goes with it.
The video features a young couple that is probably in the early throws of a romantic bust up. He’s hastily leaving, she’s kinda shellshocked, and there are tears and emotion all around. It’s hard not to connect with this because most of us have probably been in the same situation ourselves. Something significant is over, and it’s scary, raw, and hard.
So what’s your take on the video? The lyrics are suggestive of it but is he coming back for her?
