So, I'm not that familiar with Richard Walters, but it looks like he's been going at it for about a decade now under this moniker, to some pretty decent success.
That means that the release of "Kintsugi" is probably welcome for a number existing fans. And while I'm not one of them, you can count me as one now.
"Kintsugi" has a sort of Travis-esque 90s indie rock vibe. There's a hint of Coldplay, as well; and an intricacy not unlike Patrick Watson. It took me a few listens before I decided to blog this song, but I've since found that the melodic progression manages to draw me in every time. So, blog it I must!
You'll find "Kintsugi" as part of Richard Walters' upcoming album Golden Veins (his fifth).
