Why do we like this?
Rhye returns after 4 years of silence with two new singles – "Summer Days" and "Please." The R&B duo, made up of Canadian singer Mike Milosh & Danish instrumentalist Robin Hannibal, released their first album – Woman – in 2013 which was nominated for the 2013 Polaris Music Prize.
Following Woman, Rhye toured in 2014 and 2015, and in 2017, they worked with Bonobo on the track "Break Apart" which featured on his album Migration.
The music video for "Please" was directed by Milosh. The stunning black and white imagery enhances Milosh's silky, androgynous vocals, making for a mesmerizing listening experience. Rhye have expressed that the sound they've achieved in "Please" is the direction they plan to head toward with future releases.
