Why do we like this?

Quickly becoming one of Australia's most promising exports, Melbourne MC Remi is back with another dose of his intelligent brand of hip-hop.

Off the back of his highly praised (and awarded) 2014 album Raw X Infinity, the rapper has just debuted his latest single "Weirdos (From Planet HOB)" ahead of the release of a new mixtape project.

"Weirdos" is one of the smoother tracks we've been treated to by Remi, who has made a name for himself as an intense and clever wordsmith. Again working in tandem with frequent collaborator Sensible J, he's delivered an intriguing track that touches on "feeling like an outsider in whatever circumstance you're in." Laid-back, smokey soundscapes are partnered with Remi's typically clear, vibrant flow. This track's potency once again cements this partnership as a dead-set juggernaut.

The Call It What You Want' (F.Y.G. ACT:2) mixtape drops next Thursday, May 14, as a completely free download through REMI's Bandcamp page.
