Why do we like this?

Foxanne and Derrick Braxton are Red Giant, a New Jersey-based duo set on carrying the experimental downtempo torch well into 2015. In fact, Red Giant has already caught a good bit of attention for jazzy and trip-hop-inspired tracks like "Twin Peaks."

Today we're premiering Red Giant's new single "R.apid E.ye M.ovement," which features lush lyricism from Foxanne and a heady verse courtesy of rapper Ken Cardo. Both artists feel at home on Braxton's spacey, off-center production.
