It's nice to see that the sounds of early day indie rock aren't getting lost in the sub-genre experimental culture of today.
Red Cabin's "Barricade" is the perfect example of that. The unassuming discordant progressions are pleasantly surprising and engaging. The vocals are silky and transparent, lending lovely tones and sing-along material. This track encapsulates the hay day of indie rock in its infancy.
