God, this thing is sweet. Sweet, warm and buttery. Exactly what we want and expect from Real Estate at this point.
This song is so warm, you can almost hear the tape winding. It sounds raw, but the denseness in the arrangement betrays Real Estate's intent: translating sounds gone by for the internet age.
On March 26th, we're getting a full EP of songs that are leftovers from last year's full album. This song is the title track. If this sets the tone for the rest of the music, there's no reason not to be excited.
