Why do we like this?
Experimental indie rockers Rare Monk make hazy, spacey music with a pop sensibility.

Hailing from Portland, Oregon, the five-piece have blended psychedelic sounds with a love of both 90s and contemporary rock to create "Splice," a slow-burner of a track that veers deliciously towards the alternative, shoegazey side of the musical spectrum.

Having already released an EP back in 2012, the quintet are now set to release their double A-side single "Splice/Sleep Attack" on February 17.
