Why do we like this?

Indie-pop newcomers Rally Club have this week dropped their first release, the double single "Space/Twelve Tattoos." 

"Twelve Tattoos" is a melodic pop number echoing the '90s alternative musings but it's the energetic "Space" that got me hook, line and sinker.

The San Diego quartet have nailed the easy going Californian sound of the past, with "Space" a head bobbing expression of garage rock reverb and surf pop riffs.
