I was introduced to Raleigh Ritchie in the same way that millions of others were: as the handsome and meek Grey Worm, leader of the Unsullied on the acclaimed TV adaptation of Game of Thrones.
Needless to say, I was delighted to then discover that he was also an incredibly talented artist, with a slew of smooth electro-R&B/hip-hop releases under his belt.
It's quite a large step away from the other tunes we've heard from Ritchie so far, like the recent single "Bloodsport." With far more of a rap focus, his equally playful and emotional delivery really allow you to get carried away in the story. Backed by a fairly sparse, bouncy rhythm, the instrumental layers support his verses perfectly.
I'm really excited to see what else we'll be hearing from Ritchie in the coming months -- keep an ear out for more music soon.
