My new music discovery of the day is Rory Graham, aka Rag 'N' Bone Man, a soul and blues singer from London.

Described as a "prolific underground name" in his own city, I can safely say that Rag 'N' Bone Man's new single "Lay My Body Down" is the perfect ticket to help him bridge the gap between the underground and mainstream.

Opening with a gentle rocking piano line, "Lay My Body Down" benefits from a rich textural depth that gifts the track a wonderfully fulfilling appeal. Even with heavy synths, drums, and strings interspersed throughout the imposing anthem, Graham's strikingly raw vocals are actually the true highlight of the track, rasping determinedly in a way that makes me want to hear so much more.
