Last night I was watching The Oranges and came across this cute, fun, indie-gem during one of the typical romantic beach walks.
So, who are the acts behind this one? Radiant Life Perspective, consisting of Bobbie Parker and Ian Bennet, have released one debut record called Bells & Whistles. Interestingly enough, the album does not feature this collaboration with The Grand Nationals, but that doesn't mean it hasn't gotten plenty of attention.
The Grant Nationals, meanwhile, are a folk/country band out of New Jersey in the USA. Based on the limited information out there, they've released two albums thus far.
Although the song was released in 2012 alongside The Oranges film, rumor has it that the bands are still receiving emails and comments of appreciation globally. Clearly you can now add my name to the list of those "better-late-than-never" fans.
It's been a while since I've enjoyed such a pretty indie-folk song and my bet is you will too. Its a very easy like-able song with a fun video you can view right here!
