Two whole years with no new material from Tokyo Police Club, it's been driving me insane! Thankfully with today's release of RAC's Don't Talk To EP, I get the collaboration I could only possibly dream of.
After hearing many RAC remixes this year, I kinda had a rough idea of what André was going to put forward in this track. It's a very similar backdrop to the one provided in his "Next Year" remix, which was one of my favorites of this year.
Hearing David Monk's vocals is like welcoming back a dear old friend who had dropped off the face of the planet. It perfectly compliments André's dreamy, blissed-out production that makes you feel completely at ease.
