Sounds like:
Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros,
Alexander
Why do we like this?
For those of you not in the know, Alex Ebert = Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros' lead singer. Okay, now that we've got that aside, let's talk about how perfect this combination is.
RAC has remixed Edward Sharpe twice (to my knowledge): first on "Home," one of the best ever; secondly on "Janglin." On both occasions the result ranked among the best indie rock remixes of all time.
Now, as RAC continues to branch out on his solo career, Alex Ebert has joined for an original track by the name of "Tear You Down." The song can be found on Strangers Pt 1, an album due for release on March 3rd, and set to include cameos from the likes of Tegan and Sara, Kele, MNDR, Penguin Prison and Tokyo Police Club.
If you're excited as I , pre-order the album here.
