RÜFÜS, or RÜFÜS DU SOL as they are so officially named in the States, is releasing an LP entitled Atlas next month (again in the States), available now for pre-order.
They are releasing a deluxe version of the album with an entire host of remixers, including Classixx and The Presets. "Sarah" as an original is a little more muted, less massive than RÜFÜS has touched upon in the past.
Touch Sensitive fits the bill for a remix on this track quite nicely, drawing out delicate moments with a sound that easily harkens to a middle school slow dance. Spacey synths and lackadaisical drums start out the remix, and halfway through it's flipped on its head with sped up drum kicks and other supporting percussion. Welcome dance moments are abound as the remix comes to a close, and goddamn, they are sexy.
