Why do we like this?

This song is so pretty.

Quelle Rox has a unique way of experimenting with her sound. Her earlier release this year, "Tired," was heavily inspired by downtempo. However, "Cosmic Gloom," is a bit more dreamy and upbeat. The common underlying constant in all of her music is melancholic/relaxed vocals, '80s inspired synths, and heavy psychedelic influence. Is there a better combination?

I can't stop listening to this song and the phrase "Cosmic Gloom" is the exact emotional state I'm in right now. I blame retrograde but also I don't really follow astrology so I'm not sure if that's still happening. It's a great scapegoat though.

Based out of Brooklyn, she's a DIY bedroom producer. Quelle Rox's sound is seductive and charming; it lures you in. I will have this song on repeat all day! Enjoy, xoxo.
