Quelle Chris Nothing Moves

Quelle Chris previews his upcoming album 2Dirt4TV3: Innocent Country with the initial leak, "Nothing Moves." The song finds Quelle balancing introspection, irreverence, and boom-bap in his trademark slacker-rap fashion. Like a black (early) Kevin Smith, Quelle doesn't go into outer space, but mines the everyday quotidian for his material. 

Produced entirely by Oakland-based Chris Keys, Quelle has been chipping away at the third installment in his 2Dirt4TV series for several years. Though the songs' themes often drift into analysis of the self, they were mostly born from the banter of two friends in the studio. 

A must check for heads who love rap but are jaded by theatrics and histrionics, Quelle's new shit is stoner rap chic.
