I wanna kick Quelle Chris in the ass when he does something like this. Those of us who follow the nomadic artist of multiple disciplines know him for his eccentricity and warm charm. Sometimes though, we forget just how far into the depths of the heart he reaches into for his efforts.

His latest LP with Mello Music Group, Lullabies for The Broken Brain, is an instrumental collection of the bizarre and the odd. It draws inspiration from the space between spaces, thoughts unspoken and the dark dialogue many of us only dare have with the mirror.

“I’m The Bridge That You Must Burn” gets a vocal feature from Bilal Salaam, who seems eager to add another layer of cute and creepy to the party.
