Organic house. It's a funny sounding genre name for those not familiar with it, but once you hear the general vibe of songs that get tagged as such, the name just makes sense.
Nicolas Jaar was one of the first "organic house" producers to cross my path. His mix of familiar house with far-off exotic sounds and chanting stood out at the time, catapulting him into worldwide fame and a thousand festival bookings (I managed to catch him playing in Sweden and it was awesome).
Flash forward 10 years and the genre is alive, well, and growing. Quantum Glide's latest contribution, by the name "Quimey Neuquén," could very well have fooled me into believing it was a Nicolas Jaar track. But it isn't. It's Quantum Glide's, and he's done a darn good job with it.
