Why do we like this?
Pure Bathing Culture has a brand new EP coming out very soon, a follow-up to their self-titled release from last year. Much like that release, this one is sure to be full of smooth and floating synth-pop.
The first single, "Pendulum," starts with a stiff drum machine beat, but is quickly immersed in acoustic instrumentation and lots of atmospheric sounds. Singer Sarah Versprille's soft voices complement the music perfectly.
This is a pretty straight forward track lyrically, but it gets the job done and is a good glance at what we can expect from the album, Moon Tides, which will be out August 20, 2013.
