Why do we like this?
In the time it's taken me to piece some sentences together and submit this track for review, London trio Puppy have caught the attention of DIY, Consequence of Sound, and other notable music discovery sites.
"Forever," the band's debut single, is garage rock at its most unadulterated. The riffs are heavy and melodic. The vocals punch through the distortion, building an almost pop-like atmosphere that elevates what could have been a run-of-the-mill lo-fi tune to new and exciting heights.
