The supergroup Prophets Of Rage (Rage Against The Machine's Tim Commerford, Tom Morello and Brad Wilk, Public Enemy's Chuck D and DJ Lord and Cypress Hill's B-Real) are back with another cut from their forthcoming self-titled debut set for release this September.
"Radical Eyes" follows on from "Prophets Of Rage," "Unfuck The World" and "Living On The 101," and is a heady mix of Rage Against The Machine-esque instrumentation featuring Chuck D and B-Real, exchanging verses over the funky track.
Exploring Western culture stereotypes with hard-hitting lyrical barbs, Chuck D and B-Real sing the hook, "They say we're radicalized / See our radical eyes," with venom as three quarters of Rage provide the thumping soundtrack.
Chuck D had this to say about the track to Rolling Stone;
"The Western world has created biased structures and stereotypes. Opposing viewpoints and movements are seen as radical rather than diversity. 'Radical Eyes' is the lens everything is viewed through, any life movement in opposition is considered radicalised."
Prophets Of Rage is set for release September 15.
