We've been a big fan of Adelaide experimental duo Problems here at Indie Shuffle, and with the release of new single "Titles," the love still remains.
Continuing their adventure into hazy electronic landscapes, "Titles" features woozy synths, worldly percussion, and gloomy vocals. On this track, Problems offers a slightly somber, more mature sound. That's not to say "Titles" is depressing, but there's a current of melancholy that seeps in as you find yourself nodding along.
Problems is in the midst of readying their sophomore EP for release, with the below presser hinting at the pairs mind set.
“A narrative on life through the eyes of a middle class hipster, wading through the infinite barrage of first-world problems whilst providing ambiguous observations on the intricate balance of interactions between friends and acquaintances (which are of little consequence), all set up over up- and down-beat electronica with elements of pop and world music, the kind that you can listen to while riding the bus to work, doing the washing, or laying on the couch with ur iPad, trawling Asos for ur next ‘on sale’ fashion purchase which saves you 40% on the RRP while demonstrating your ability to stay on point."
Interesting, to say the least.
"Titles" is available via iTunes Friday May 29.
