The dog stares at a wet curb. A cold rain fizzling down. Turning its head, we lock eyes from across a sloshy, tarred ravine. One car. Two cars whizz past. This is not where the dog fancies to lay its turd. The owner yanks. They shuffle towards an apartment door. This dog has not been given a fair walk.
That was a something I just witnessed outside, and, like "Aura," it stuck with me. In fact, the whole Aura EP is packed with memorable moments. "Aura" stood out especially, the same way that dog's longing glance did.
Something about that sad pup got me thinking he/she, as a human, would wear a pair of those classic walkman headphones and bump Private Agenda religiously. A vague link, but one nonetheless.
