Why do we like this?

Following on from their first release under new name Preoccupations, the band formally known as Viet Cong have a second single doing the rounds.

"Degraded" is a driving mash of melodic guitars and pummelling percussion with touches of Tame Impala-like rock. It retains the feedback filled post-punk of their first single, "Anxiety," but with a more uptempo feel, making their self-titled album one of the year's most anticipated releases. 

Preoccupations is set for release September 16.
