Why do we like this?

Instrumentally, a hybrid of Moderat and Jamie XX. Vocally, somewhere between Jose Gonzalez and Sufjan Stevens. Prateek Kuhad's "Favorite Peeps" has kept me coming back to it for the past two weeks.

It's a track about leaning on loved ones when the lows take hold. I find this song to be beautifully delicate. It's honest, it's art, and it's a track I'll have on repeat for some time to come.

"Favorite Peeps" is from Prateek Kuhad upcoming album, The Way That Lovers Do, which is due May 20 and available for pre-order.
