Why do we like this?

Gorilla vs. Bear premiered this silky Porter Ray joint earlier this month. It's been sitting in my SoundCloud Likes for nearly as long, waiting patiently for me to share it with y'all.

The Seattle-based rapper is two weeks away from dropping his debut LP Watercolor. From what I've heard of it so far, it's no surprise why Ray has been co-signed by Sup Pop and Ishmael Butler of Shabazz Palaces. He's got an album release party on March 8 at Seattle's Barboza before heading to SXSW, where he'll hit the stage on March 15 at Swan Dive Patio in Austin. What do you think? Is Porter Ray the future of Seattle hip-hop?
