"I think I saw a unicorn wandering in the Bois de Boulogne. I climbed on her back and went on a wild ride."
Since 2013, the French pop scene has seen a number of new, intriguing bands emerge -- the kind that use synths, sensitives lyrics, and light melodies to rekindle the spirit of 80's candid French electro-pop.
Among them is Poom, the duo of of Camille Ferrera and Siegfried De Turckheim. They had already got our attention back in 2014 with their single "Les Voiles" (music video below) and are releasing their first album 2016 today.
While there aren't any new tracks on this album, Poom reworked one of their oldest track, "My Licorne and Me," and it sounds just fine!
