Following on from the military-esque call to arms of, "Tambulaya," Angolan artist Pongo returns with the slightly more subdued "Kuzola."
Oozing with the vibrancy of her previous single, "Kuzola" is more understated, with it's African rhythms melding upbeat electronic sounds and Pongo's lush vocals.
Kuzola in Kimbundu (a traditional Angolan language) means love. The track is about a someone who's husband has left her for another woman. Suffering from his betrayal the woman also blames herself for naively devoting herself to man who was not worth her time or effort.
Pongo continues to deliver the goods with both singles released from her forthcoming Baia EP showcasing the different sides of her as an artist.
The Baia EP is set for release this September.
