Why do we like this?

"Baia" is the energetic third single from Angolan sensation Pongo's forthcoming debut EP.

A driving slice of afro-beat with electronica flourishes, this track is made for dancing too, with the film clip reminding me of classic Missy Elliot videos of the early 00s.

Lyrically "Baia" details Pongo's career and her comeback as a solo artist after previously being a member of Buraka Som Sistema. The song is about the hardships she's endured but also the future challenges she has.
