Why do we like this?
Young Canadian producer Pomo is leading the way in Bastard Jazz' fourth volume of their future funk compilation Tempo Dreams.
The young man has obviously taken advantage of the universal health care practice of our northern neighbors because he's been able to keep himself happy and healthy and working on his music.
"Blue Soda (Part 2)" is a slinking, shimmering track that wiggles along joyously. It flows with a syrupy persistence, much like its namesake, and quickly burrows itself into your ears and brain.
Some liner-notes reading heads might also recognize that he landed production on Anderson .Paak's Malibu.
