Why do we like this?
Punk rockers Polar Bear Club released their EP The View. The Life last week in anticipation of their full-length album Clash Battle Guilt Pride, which is set to drop September 13.
The post-hardcore New Yorkers have come back with a bite since their 2009 release Chasing Hamburg. With an added edge, a grungier scream and a deeper guitar line, Polar Bear Club has gone back to their beloved roots of their first EP The Redder, The Better.
With fast progression and harmonized vocals, the band strings everything together in a seamless punk-rock manner. Vocalist Jimmy Stadt wails with raw power dueling guitar riffs and drum rolls throughout all three tracks.
This is surely a taste of what's to come; I don't think fans are going to be let down.
