Hazy, shoegazy, smooth and lazy? Okay, the last word probably didn't work -- I just wanted to rhyme.
Chances are you haven't heard of POKAL. He's been making songs for a little while now, but they haven't garnered a ton of attention. Fortunately, this song was sent to me via SubmitHub, where size doesn't matter and quality of song is king.
"Know Your Name" reminds me of a shoegaze phase I went through back in ~2004, though to be fair it has a much more modern sound a la Wild Nothing. So yeah, I'm pretty into that.
