Why do we like this?
For those in need of a dancey, synth-infused tune, keep reading.
Gil Wojcik and Justin Victoria established PLOY back in March and have since released a self-titled EP and two singles, one of which is "Gold." The very notion of PLOY originated by happenstance; casual conversation over a Starbucks coffee suddenly became intriguing. Ever since, us listeners have been treated to something pretty special.
Based out of Washington, D.C., PLOY's studio space is nothing fancy: a crammed bedroom and an iMac is all they require. "Gold," released just a few days ago, undeniably possesses their signature sound: an electronic, trickling feel that effortlessly seeps through our speakers.
Who knew a Starbucks in Manhattan could be responsible for the birth of such an eccentric duo?
Enjoy, shufflers.
