Why do we like this?

Hartlepool teens PLAZA are back with moody third single "Youth."

Displaying a maturity well beyond their years, "Youth" is another dose of math-rock meets post-punk bleakness from the North's new favorites.

Cathartic guitar riffs and brooding instrumentation meld together with hints of garage-pop as the washed out vocals cry out, "I want it all, do you want it all? /  I need it all, do you want it all?"

There's an anthem quality to their work that makes PLAZA stand head and shoulders above their peers, and if they keep releasing tunes as involving as "Youth," it won't be long until they are a household name.
