In a few weeks time, on January 17th, a flurry of revelers will descend on South Africa's Citrusdal, AKA Citrus Valley, located about 2 hours from Cape Town.
Lauded as one of the country's premier festivals, Wolfkop Weekender generally consists of three things, music, lilos (AKA inflatables), and sun. With an emphasis on sun, and, more over, sunscreen.
The big idea? Simple: tie up your inflatable swan, kiwi, etc. for a carefree float on the river and listen to live music and DJs. Theoretically it's similar in those ways to a fancy hotel pool party, however it's more wholesome, and with a whole camping vibe going on.
