Have you ever written a haiku? There's something compelling in the 5/7/5 structure. I've tried my hand at many haikus, and always find the process calming. Breaking up words into syllables to fit into each line -- it's kind of like solving a puzzle. Haiku writing is something I do to relax; much like putting together these Sunday Night Chill collections. Here are a few to spur some creativity, should this week's playlist get you in the haiku-writing mood: The sky is a sea. And clouds are tumbling gray waves, Forever rolling. // The night fog slinks in Casting shadows, chilling bones. Give in to the mist. // Press down on the keys. Watch your thoughts form into words, Little victories. Image credit: my Instagram
