This week, I wrote a little summary for each lovingly hand-picked Sunday Night Chill track, which you can find sitting under every song listed below. It's difficult to focus SNC playlists around a particular theme or feeling, because in general the atmospheric tracks we feature all share similar characteristics: minimal electronica peppered with synths, mellow keyboards, and a slight coolness (hence the playlist name). But if you pushed me to explain what made me select each of the songs below for this week, I would have to say that they all put my mind elsewhere -- on a beach at night, in a fog-filled forest, on some curving road deep in Northern California.
