I don't know about your neck of the woods, but here in New Mexico, spring has finally sprung. It's funny how it's such a gradual shift from winter to spring, but for whatever reason, our brains and bodies don't recognize the change. Until one day, we look around, and blossoms are in full bloom and the abyss that is the stronghold of winter is finally over in what seems like a split second.
Music can sneak up on us like that, too. A track starts off slow and we put our brains in autopilot, but then all of a sudden we'll have every aspect of our being bombarded and lost in the flow of a song.
