While there have been plenty of law shows on TV throughout the years, there hasn't been a show quite like Suits.
Airing on USA Thursday nights, Suits stars Patrick J. Adams playing Mike Ross, a law savant who was expelled from college for cheating and is now making his living taking LSATs for law school hopefuls. Fate is in Mike's favor when he avoids arrest via a drug sting by sitting in on an interview at the prestigious Pearson Hardman law firm, and ends up getting hired by Harvey Specter (played by Gabriel Macht), despite his not-so-illustrious past.
Law cases, romance, and drama fill the show as Mike and Harvey pretend that Mike is a Harvard Law stand-out, as the two traverse the world of high-powered New York attorneys.
While law and indie music don't always go together, the two form quite the pair on the soundtrack for Suits. Including electronic tinged songs from The xx, The Airborne Toxic Event, and Young Empires, Suits shows that more creativity rests within the law drama genre besides the Law and Order theme song. The soundtrack also includes the alt-country Kentucky rockers My Morning Jacket and a smooth jazz-infused songstress Waldeck.
