Brisbane rising star Rebel Yell is a force to be reckoned with. Crafting industrial style electronic that veers into dark experimental corners, Rebel Yell is like nothing you've heard before. The DJ and producer has released a number of radical singles ("Pressure Drop" being my favourite) and is about to drop her must hear debut album, Hired Muscle, on June 22nd.
Having had a sneaky listen to the LP I can confirm it's an absolute monster that's hard to turn off. In celebration of the release Rebel Yell has been kind enough to create a playlist of tracks inspired by the album. Speaking about the tunes she had this to say;
Hired Muscle was written over a year or so from late 2016 to late 2017. Weirdly enough for an industrial techno artist, I listen to a lot of mainstream pop, especially while writing. My playlist ranges in genres, sharing a little snippet of insight into the inspiration for Hired Muscle. I love listening and supporting my friends and this playlist also features some of my all time favourite Australian artists.
