It's been another huge week in hip-hop once again. In between Twitter beefs (Kanye/Wiz and more interestingly B.O.B./Neil Degrasse Tyson), RiRi finally dropping ANTI, and finally seeing Fat Joe live, there's been a stack of great new music released.
A$AP Rocky dropped a collaboration with Pharrell as well as his long awaited "Wu-Tang Forever" remix, Travi$ Scott jumped on Miguel's "Waves," Odd Future kids Earl Sweatshirt, and Hodgy Beats both gifted fans a number of tracks while my boy Young Thug continued to release music of varying quality.
But if I had to choose one track that you have to hear this week it's "Cocaine Parties In L.A.," Freddie Gibbs' flip of Kanye's "No More Parties In L.A." Gibbs has been turning out quality for longer than I can remember, and over Madlib's soul sampling production, he creates a track that's probably better than Kanye's original version. Enjoy the tunes, people.
