Indie Shufflers, I have a confession to make. I am, most decidedly, afflicted by an ever-present and and decidedly insistent travel bug. And given the opportunity, I will readily come up with an excuse to bust out my Lonely Planet guide and plan myself an adventure.
Of course, every adventure needs a soundtrack, and some of my most vivid travel memories involve a combination of discoveries: for a new landscape, country, and culture, mixed in with that of a new band whose music is lending itself to my verve for explanation.
As I'm currently in the middle of my own travel adventure, it feels fitting to present you with five tracks that evoke the adventuring urge in me, either by literal subject matter or simple association. With that, I urge you to turn it up... and get packing, of course.
