This post might come off to you as super depressing and/or super sentimental, so I apologize and/or you're welcome. There have been many bands who've come and gone without much notice, but then there were those bands that announced their break up and you weeped for a few days straight with their best album on repeat (No? Just me? Oh...).
You know this is an ominous fact that's bound to happen to most of your favorite bands (unless they're from the 60s/70s; the drugs were different then). It's something that we all must accept and savor while we still can, and then spend way too much money on reunion show tickets.
Get your dancing shoes and tissues ready because we're about to cry AND dance (new low? No way! I like to call it "new appreciation"). We present five bands that are no longer but will forever be in our hearts. Try not to get too verklempt.
