Why do we like this?
Last week Glasgow act CHVRCHES showed their support for up-and-coming Manchester act PINS by posting "SO PSYCHED for this album (30 September, y'all)" on their Facebook page. Having never encountered the band before, and being a fan of CHVRCHES, I decided to check them out.

"Get With Me" is the all-female quartet's latest single, a grungy, lo-fi stunner with a melodic chorus that embraces a 60s swagger. You can hear hints of Dum Dum Girls and Vivian Girls in "Get With Me," and it brings back memories of dancing to similar indie fare at the sleazy Pav Tav in Brighton. I think I've found my new favorite band for this week.
