Phum Viphurit is one of those artists that I've been on the cusp of becoming a big fan of for a while now. I've listened to a handful of songs from Viphurit and although he has some obvious talent, I've often felt his sound was lacking something to really put those songs over the edge for me.
At only 24 years of age, however, the Thailand-born/New Zealand-raised artist seems to only be on the up and up as he gains popularity throughout the world.
This remix really hit the spot for me with the way that it highlights the vocals and elevates the songwriting foundation that Viphurit has already laid. That's what a good remix is supposed to do, right? The guitar stylings and vocal harmonies remind me of two of my favorite bands, Two Door Cinema Club and Local Natives, respectively.
