Phondupe has just dropped the third track from The Ecstasy Of series, which so far has seen the hemispherically challenged production duo pushing boundaries while still maintaining the brooding soundscapes of their first EPs.
The latest single, "Milton," is driven by a warped, lethargic, and bass-heavy production layered with deep, gravely vocals with an acoustic quality that gives the track a bit of a rock feel.
There are so many interesting elements in this track as it goes on which makes for some seriously addictive listening. After what feels like an intensively swelling build up, what you are left with in the last 20 seconds stands in stark but beautiful contrast to the previous 5 minutes.
Definitely listen from start to finish.
