Why do we like this?

It's been a long time since we featured anything by Edwin Van Cleef on Indie Shuffle (2011?!), but he's managed to add a nice enough touch to Phoenix's "Trying To Be Cool" that I'm all about making it today's Song of the Day.

Phoenix, meanwhile, released a new music video for the song today via The Creators Project, which was incidentally filmed right next to my temporary office in Barcelona. The turnaround was pretty darn quick -- this was only filmed something like 2 weeks ago!
