Why do we like this?
One of this year's best albums has had the remixers going at it like vultures to carrion (Animal Collective, for example, just took a shot at this track). Personally, I'm not so sure that anyone can improve on Phoenix's stellar album, but for those of you familiar with their work, this is somewhat entertaining. According to a quick write-up on Pitchfork, Shuttle (drummer Nate Donmoyer of Passion Pit) uses "glitchy touches, a drum machine and stabbing synths" to electronically recreate this soundtrack.
